Laptop advice

Hi guys, I got to buy a laptop to play q3 at home, so I got 3 choices :)
Asus G70, Toshiba X300 or Packard bell GxM101.

Does someone ever try to play on such systems ???

Thanks for all :)

Asus : 17", 4Go Ram, T9500, Ge9800 GTS
Toshiba : 17", 4Go RAm, T9400, Ge9800 GTX
PB : 17", 4Go RAM, T9400, GE 9800GTS

like u see, all have similar configuration, and are very good :P i had in my life 3 laptops so far, 2 Asus, 1 Acer, so my choice will be Asus :P but Toshiba have nice design xD dunno ;) ur choice

well...all 3 are v good, and there isnt some differences anymore.
all new laptops are almost similar, so buy the cheapest from this 3...save the money ;) (and spend it on beer).

Anyway, i have intel quad core, ram:4gb, graphic card is nvidia quadro FX 5600...and i have LG crt of 17", couse it is better for graphic and gaming than lcd.Soon i will buy nokia or phillips crt (pro version).....well thats enough.

The cheapest one is the PB whitch cost 1500€.
The Asus cost 2100 € and the Toshiba cost 1900 €.

I'm afraid of the quality of the PB and I want to be sure to have a good workin machine :D

I'll choose tomorrow :)

Well if u wanna, buy Toshiba, u cant miss, anyway look at warranty...but i think PB will working fine.Just take a look which prcessor is inthere, and in the other ones.

This is rise of a new generation, even a 9800 GTX in the Toshiba.I wonder if I'll be able to play with that on my knee :D

I think it gonna be the Pb :)

The Tosh has only a 1440x900 resolution and the Asus is still mounted with DDR2 Ram :)

I gonna play tomorrow with the Pb :)

well...i think he need PC for some more things, not ony fo q3 :P.
I started to play q3 in AMD Duron 750 mh, 256 mb of ram, and grahpic card was some nvidia with 256 mb....but u see, when i bought this PC it was damn strong...and it was in 1998 as i can remember....
So, u can play with this shit which is described here pretty well, actually same like this which i have now.

That's it, I finally bought an Asus G50V, not so expensive and with a great Geforce 9700Gt.
I'll try it tonight :)

Of course it's not only for q3, but Didi or Warcraft won't be to heavy for my new machine.
I know that my wife will love my Asus :D
