HDD problem

wtf... ?
I've got 2.5'' hdd case. It works fine and now I've installed new hdd there.

First boot = everything works. I've tried to remove partitions. Fail...
Second boot = It should be 80GB hdd not 3TB. Win XP discovered it as 3TB hdd with 10 partitions (there are 3 + 1 removed).
Third boot = system cannot discover disk

I've tried to remove hdd from case, remove driver, reinstall it, hit keyboard may times.

try maybe one of recovery hdd programs (Recuva for example) and see if it work with it

podepnij tylko ten 3TB czyli 80tke. zobacz co sie stanie. odpal linuxa z CD jak tam nie masz windy i zeskanuj z poziomu linuxa. powinien czytac i naprawiać NTFS czy FAT32

ja tak mialem z 40 GB ze zrobiło sie 120 GB - oznaczało to jego smierc w moim przypadku.

you should have never turned it off after second reboot - that is simple!

otherwise i havent had problems with mine external drive... maybe windows drivers aren't there - try google your hdd model and problem in english

It's not external drive ;) It's just case...

btw, I've tried 4 different partition editors (I had to find portable edition as I was at work). Finally PartitionMagic (Italian ^^) worked.
